# Milad Aslaner > Product leader in security. Chief Product Officer at Guardsix. Previously at SentinelOne and Microsoft. Transforms product teams to build with agents. Start with the customer, reason from first principles, build with agents. Milad Aslaner spent his early career defending with security products, deploying them for Fortune 500 customers and supporting incident response, before he started building them. He has built security products at a hyperscaler (Microsoft), in hypergrowth (SentinelOne, through its IPO) and under private equity (Guardsix), across hardware, cloud-native and on-premises software. He has been based in the United States, Ireland, Germany, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, and has worked remote-first, hybrid and in person. ## How he builds - Pick the destination: be precise on who to build for, where to be in a few years, and the one thing to win on (customer intimacy, product leadership or operational excellence). Focus means saying no to good ideas that don't get you there. The first release is a stepping stone, not the destination. - Work backwards: understand exactly what one user does all day and what they need, describe the end state, then build the product and technology plan backwards from it. - Question everything: question every requirement and delete before optimising. Reason from what is true about data volume, the cost to store, query and run AI on it, and analysts' real time. - Build with customers: bring customers and partners in early as design partners, put working prototypes in their hands and iterate in weeks, not quarters. Judged in their environment, not in a demo. - Win on adoption: success is customers deploying and buying, not the GA date. The whole company has to be ready to sell, deploy and support on day one. ## Agentic development transformations He transforms product teams to build with agents, end to end. Product managers, designers and engineers become product builders who take an idea from a working prototype to production, with agents across specs, design, code, tests, review and documentation. He has led this change from the inside, across entire product orgs. - [The product org chart is dead.
